Til We Meet Again (Live) LP
Nearly two decades into her storied career, 9-time GRAMMY-winning singer, songwriter, and pianist Norah Jones will release her first full live album âTil We Meet Again. The collection presents globe-spanning performances from the U.S., France, Italy, Brazil, and Argentina that were recorded between 2017-2019. The first single âIt Was You,â which is available to stream or download today, was recorded at the 2018 Ohana Festival in Dana Point, California with Pete Remm on organ, Christopher Thomas on bass, and Brian Blade on drums. Additional musicians featured on the album include bassist Jesse Murphy, guitarist Jesse Harris, flutist Jorge Continentino, and percussionist Marcelo Costa.
The 14 songs featured on âTil We Meet Again also span Jonesâ entire career from her 2002 debut Come Away With Me (âDonât Know Why,â âIâve Got To See You Again,â âCold, Cold Heartâ), 2004âs Feels Like Home (âSunrise,â âThose Sweet Wordsâ), 2012âs Little Broken Hearts (âAfter The Fallâ), 2016âs Day Breaks (âFlipside,â âTragedyâ), as well as her more recent singles series (âIt Was You,â âBegin Again,â âJust A Little Bit,â âFalling,â and the GRAMMY-nominated âIâll Be Goneâ). The album closes with Jonesâ stunning solo piano performance of Soundgardenâs âBlack Hole Sun,â a tribute to Chris Cornell that was recorded at the Fox Theatre in Detroit just days after Cornellâs death following a performance at the same venue.
